Tour of Lights

Wow, what a turn out for a 28 degree night in Texas. Thank you everyone who attended the Tour of Lights event on tonight, as well as all of you who participated in the cake walk. I know it was cold, but what a bunch of troopers.

I hope everyone had a great time driving around in the warm limo looking at all of the lights. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

If you would like a copy of any of the pictures in the slide show please email me with the number below the slide and I will send you the full file.

Please bring a cake or baked goods to the party for the Cake Walk, the more cakes the better! The more cakes/goods that are brought the longer the Cake Walk will last. Store cakes/goods are welcome!

In an effort to organize the length of the ride and the route, we are asking that you please RSVP with how many people will be partaking in the train ride. Community Garage Sale

Do you need to make some extra money before Christmas? Need to get rid of some of the extra clutter around the house? Clean out the garage and all of your closets, we are having a garage sale!!

The community garage sale will be on Saturday, November 8th. We will be putting signs out around the community, advertising in the newspaper, and putting a post on Craig's List.

The City of McKinney does require that everyone get a Garage sale permit, please do so as soon as possible. http://www.mckinneytexas.org/homeright.asp?aid=144&id=2395&did=1107

For the residents who have alleys, please have your sale in your front yard in order to keep traffic flowing. You can determine what time you would like to start and end your sale, recommended hours would be from 8am-dark.
